SchoolOUT! is a fun, energetic and exciting OSHC program with outstanding community support and government ratings that prove why they are leaders in the industry. We operate multiple services throughout Victoria.
We are looking for a highly motivated people who have a passion for providing a high quality Outside School Hours Care Program for school aged children.
Work within a supportive team environment to implement an engaging, exciting and fun programs in line with the My Time, Out Place Curriculum.
About the role

Ensure the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic and safe.

Develop, implement and evaluate programs which are based on the developmental needs and interests of children and which invite their input and participation in accordance with the Educational leader and staff.

To ensure all interactions with children reflect the philosophy and policies of the Centre, the principles of the National Quality Framework (NQF).

To act as a facilitator of play and to encourage children to try new experiences.

Develop and implement appropriate rules and limits

Work effectively with families in caring for children and promote and support family involvement in the service

Collaborate working with a team and supporting ideas and workload

Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the SchoolsOUT vision and values

Split shifts available from 6:30am -9:00 am and or 3:00 - 6:30 pm

Vacation care shifts during school holiday periods
Skills and experience
-
Studying or completed a Cert IV in children services or Diploma in Children's services qualification or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA, or willing to further studies in the children services industry for Out of School hours Care.

Students studying teaching.

Practical working knowledge and implementation of NQF and MTOP or willing to learn.

First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificate or willing to obtain

Current Working with children checks or willing to obtain

Ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the services for children, families and colleague
