🌟 Celebrating National Science Week & Bullying. No Way! Week at SchoolsOUT! 🌟

Empowering young minds through curiosity, kindness, and respect.

This August, we’re celebrating not just one — but TWO incredible weeks of learning and growth at SchoolsOUT!

🔬 National Science Week (9-17 August)

Science Week is all about sparking curiosity, asking “what if?”, and exploring the world around us. At SchoolsOUT, we believe that science isn’t just about test tubes and lab coats — it’s about discovery, problem-solving, and seeing the world in exciting new ways.

Throughout the week, our children will become mini scientists as they:

  • Build volcanoes, rain clouds, and slime

  • Explore chemical reactions through safe, hands-on experiments

  • Discover the science behind sound, light, space and forces

  • Investigate nature in our outdoor spaces - what’s living in our gardens?

We're nurturing little minds to think critically, ask questions, and feel proud of their experiments - no matter the result!

💛 Bullying. No Way! Week (11–15 August)

At the heart of this week is one strong message: everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and included.

As we explore big ideas in science, we’re also encouraging big hearts and kind actions. Through group discussions, games, stories and role play, we’ll be learning about:

  • What bullying is (and isn’t)

  • How to stand up safely and speak out

  • How to include others and celebrate differences

  • The importance of respectful relationships and teamwork - especially during experiments!

Kindness is the greatest force we can teach — and every child will be reminded that there is no place for bullying at SchoolsOUT.

💬 “Science teaches us how to understand the world. Kindness teaches us how to change it.”

We’re so excited to see the children embrace this week of discovery and compassion. By combining science with respect and inclusion, we’re creating a space where curiosity and kindness go hand in hand - and where every child feels seen, safe and inspired.
